Join us this Sunday

  • Worship begins each Sunday at 10 AM.

  • We are worshipping at 227 North Queen Street, Lancaster on the second floor of the bus station.

    • Enter through the front door and take the elevator to the second floor. Or go through the red door up the steps to the second floor.

    • Our church office is located on the mezzanine (M) level.

  • After worship all are invited to stay for food and fellowship.

What do we believe?

  • A personal, heart-felt relationship with God through Jesus Christ is an essential part of faith.

  • We are to share God’s love in word and deed with people of other cultures and in all the world.

  • Faith in Jesus Christ is a community experience.

  • We find guidance for doctrine and faith through the Bible.

  • We have a heritage of creativity in music and worship.

  • We subscribe to the major creeds of the Church. (ie. Apostle’s, Nicene, etc.)

  • Discerning God’s will is a task to be shared among many rather than to be vested in a single person or office. We use a conferential form of government to share this responsibility.

  • We place great value on our ties with Christians of other denominations throughout the world.

  • Moravians believe in one God: Creator, Son and Holy Spirit

  • Moravians believe that Jesus Christ is the way to God and God’s way to us.

Mission & Service Committee

The Mission and Service Committee assists the pastor and the Unified Board in choosing an assortment of mission projects that we can do to serve our community, the broader church, and the world.  The Giving Tree Opportunities (GTO) project was begun in 2013 to offer a way for the community at large to partner with us in serving local missions monthly to coincide with Lancaster's First Friday events (except in winter months) We can be found in the grass lot just down from the church each first Friday from 6-8 PM increasing awaremenss and gathering donations for different non-profit groups in the community.  Some of this year's partners include Habitat for Humanity, Lancaster County Council of Churches, and the Lancaster City Police K-9 and mounted units.  Frequently we offer the givers a small token item in exchange for a donation like a grilled hot dog or homemade cookies.
